I won’t say anything about the conviction that everyone hasn’t already heard…., but I do want to say that I still think it is so funny that after all the evidence is out in the open, that Langford is STILL claiming racism. WOW. Way to man up Larry. It’s because you are black. OK, [...]

Thank you for your service Mr. Herenton, or as your very racists followers call you, Dr. Herenton. They have really been “bamboozled”, to quote the greatest racist on earth.
In short, you suck. I am glad that they are running you through the wringer right now, and I hope and pray that they roast your bigoted, [...]

One thing that has bothered me is the fact that Herenton appointed four times the amount of people than the charter allowed. OK, follow me here. He appointed 437 jobs. The charter allows for roughly 110 appointments.
So, follow me here. 437 jobs at $20,000 a year. Over 8 million a year for how many years? [...]

Myron Lowery is the only choice for Memphis. He has done what others wouldn’t dare do, and he has done it in such a short time. He has been called a sell out and Uncle Tom, but he has what it takes to bring credit back to black politicians.
It has been scandals and racists rhetoric [...]

Memphis mayor WillieHerenton ran Memphis in a very unique way that didn’t allow for very much oversight from within the ranks of City Hall. He is now caught up in getting back pay for vacation days that he never took. He and then CAO approached HR and got this approved because nobody was able to [...]

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina lawmaker has asked Gov. Mark Sanford to oust the mayor of a troubled coastal town.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports that Rep. Tracy Edge, R-North Myrtle Beach, wrote Sanford Friday that Atlantic Beach would be better off without Mayor Retha Pierce.
Pierce was charged Wednesday with drunken [...]

Mambasa, the angry troll poster at the Commercial Appeal, was found wandering the streets of Memphis in a drunken, racist, rage. Upon encountering each and every white person, she would vehemently shout racial slurs of honky, cracker, hater, do-gooder, and one passerby even heard her call a elderly woman a slave trader.
As the police were [...]

Why would anyone elect Charles Carpenter? He has been with Herenton throughout every campaign, and has obviously helped him in his verbiage that stokes the flames of racism, that serve as nothing more than a smokescreen to get over on Memphis for personal gain.
For someone to promote the fact that every time they are called [...]

This site is just what Memphis needs to let all the dirt get aired out. This site is where people of Memphis can comment on what they know, what they heard, or what they think. Visitors are able to respond to comments and keep the debate going. I liked it. It is brand new and [...]

It would do the city some good to let the Prince in for a while. We may be surprised at what he can do. It couldn’t be as bad as what we have endured for the past 18 years..

Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton was caught today cleaning out his office and loading up his vehicle. He looked in good spirits as he made trips to his vehicle, accompanied by his former bodyguards. The soon to be ex Mayor stopped for an interview for one of the news stations, and his remarks were more of [...]

Mayor O’Brien is accused of offering a political rival, Terry Kilrea, money and help with a federal appointment in exchange for dropping out of the 2006 Ottawa mayoral election.
Why is it that Mayor O’Brien cannot stand on his own two feet and defeat Terry Kilrea on his own merits. To have to stoop that low [...]

Mayor Herenton resigns. What a feeling it was to hear those words. I was knee deep in refinishing the floors in my house, but I took a hiatus to sit down and listen to what I have been waiting to hear for years.
I really wasn’t surprised to hear his farewell speech was the same old [...]

” Don’t you like my new pink Socks?”
Well, it seems the plot has thickened for old Taterhead. It appears that the Feds have been giving Mayor Herenton the slow kill, just like he has been giving Memphis since his arrival. The Feds are making sure that they have all the evidence that is needed to [...]

<<<<< LOSER ALERT
“Did you ever know that you’re my hero” ought to be playing in your head right now, thanks to a local blogger in Pocomoke City, Md. He, along with others are tired of the same old cronyism that is plaguing cities and towns all across America. The laws in Md. are tough [...]

The mayor of Memphis has just won the “The Worst Mayor in the World” award. The ceremony has a date that has yet to be announced.
W.W. Herenton, aka “Taterhead”, King Willie, Slick Willy, and sometimes just plain “W”, has just put together a team to find out if it is a good idea for him [...]
