Myrtle Beach Mayor at it again

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina lawmaker has asked Gov. Mark Sanford to oust the mayor of a troubled coastal town.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports that Rep. Tracy Edge, R-North Myrtle Beach, wrote Sanford Friday that Atlantic Beach would be better off without Mayor Retha Pierce.
Pierce was charged Wednesday with drunken driving. She was released on bond the next day and told reporters she is innocent.
Pierce has been arrested three other times since late 2007. She was charged in April with leaving the scene of an accident and arrested in January on a trespassing charge at Town Hall in a dispute with staff members.
As a council member, she was charged in 2007 with resisting arrest during a traffic stop. She said she had to go to the bathroom.

What a winner. Is it just me or does anyone see a pattern with our officials being kind of well…. and these are the people in control of our lives. Who votes for these people? Throw her out! Start it over. She doesn’t even have her best interest in mind, how is she going to have yours. Wake up people.
