The Worst Mayor in America

If you think your town has problems, think again. We have the worst mayor of all times. A true race baiter that has gotten away with the total destruction and breakdown of a truly wonderful, beautiful city. He has set an attitude in this city of “if you don’t like it, leave”. He has actually let those words come out of his mouth, in public.
But the tide has turned. He has gotten a little too public and daring with his dealings, and the cat is out of the bag. The feds here in Memphis are on him and they are not getting off. Thank God they have the courage to get past the “why you picking on me” card, and they are doing their job. It is time for him to go and I mean go where they give 3 squares and a cot.
Willie Herenton is “Walking Evil” and I am only staying in Memphis long enough to see the feds take him down. After that, I am going to take a nice, long vacation.
You remember dot, dot, dot, tap, tap, tap..?
“Federal investigators are probing the finances of annual gala Christmas parties held to raise funds for Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton, sources say.
An FBI agent and an investigator from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service have interviewed the organizers of the lavish parties at Memphis’ Peabody Hotel as part of a federal probe focusing on Herenton’s private business dealings, The (Memphis) Commercial Appeal reported Sunday.
Among those who said they have been interviewed about the parties are the mayor’s aide, Pete Aviotti, and prominent Memphis developer Henry Turley.
“The grand jury has all that information,” Aviotti told the newspaper. “They told me what they wanted me to give them, and that’s what I did. They’re not leaving anything uncovered at all.”
“They were very polite, and it was a brief meeting,” added Turley. “They asked if I knew where the money went.”
The Commercial Appeal said nearly every year since Herenton became Memphis’ first elected black mayor in 1992, the city’s powerful white business establishment has funded a lavish Christmas party for the mayor, each contributing $1,000 checks for his re-election efforts.”
