I May Hate You, but I Love Your Smile…

The mayor of Carlstadt, N.J., and his former wife were indicted by a Bergen County grand jury on a series of charges linked to the alleged continued use of health benefits following the couple’s divorce.

William Roseman

Both William Roseman and his ex-wife, Lori Lewin, face two counts of third-degree conspiracy to commit theft by deception, two counts of third-degree theft by deception and two counts of official misconduct, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

In 2008 an investigation began into claims that Roseman still had his former spouse, Lewin, enrolled in the Borough of Carlstadt’s medical and prescription plans. The pair was divorced in 2000 and Roseman was obligated to notify the borough’s benefits administrator within 60 days of that change in marital status, officials said.

Roseman allegedly failed to make that notification and allowed Lewin to remain on the borough’s benefits plan. From the time of the divorce in July 2000 through January 2008, Lewin obtained prescription benefits of more than $7,000 under the borough’s plan, prosecutors allege, and medical benefits through 2003 of more than $4,000.

An investigation found that Roseman also did not remove Lewin from his dental benefits plan with Delta Dental, paid for by the Borough of Carlstadt. The municipality paid nearly $4,000 in premiums to the dental insurer for coverage to Lewin under Roseman’s plan and paid out claims of nearly $4,000 because Roseman let Lewin remain on his plan, prosecutors say.

Officials alleged that for years, explanations of benefits were mailed to Roseman, showing Lewin’s usage of both medical and dental plans, including dates of service and amounts paid. It is also alleged that as Carlstadt’s mayor, Roseman presided over meetings where funding for the borough’s medial, prescription and dental plans were approved at the same time Lewin remained on his plan.

The pair were originally indicted by a grand jury in 2009, with the new charges added after the discovery of the alleged improper dental benefits.

The state’s ethics board is charging former Mayor C. Ray Nagin of New Orleans with two possible violations. One charge involves gifts to Mr. Nagin paid for by the technology company NetMethods and its owner Mark St. Pierre, who had several city contracts. NetMethods paid for Mr. Nagin and his family to travel to Jamaica in 2005 and to Hawaii in 2004, according to newspaper reports. The other charge involves a countertop installation company owned by Mr. Nagin and his sons. The company, Stone Age L.L.C., received compensation for services provided to Home Depot when Home Depot was negotiating tax breaks and other items with the city.

An East Tennessee mayor surrendered to authorities on Wednesday after being indicted on 31 counts of sales tax evasion.

Kenneth Lee Burchfield, 44 has been the mayor of Winfield since 2002. He also owns Kenny’s Rowboat, a convenience store in Winfield that is located along the Tennessee-Kentucky border.

A Scott County Grand Jury handed down the 31 count indictment against Burchfield on May 4th after examining evidence gathered by the Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
The state claims that Burchfield purposely did not report how much sales tax he collected between February 2004 and December 2006. During that time investigators say he kept $47,173.02.

Mayor Burchfield is known throughout the region for being a diehard University of Tennessee Volunteers fan. In the past he has made headlines for publically betting rival business owners in the Bluegrass State on the outcome of annual games between the Vols and University of Kentucky Wildcats.

He faces up to 62 years in prison and $93,000 in fines if convicted on all 31 counts of tax evasion.

Birmingham Mayor gets some time….

March 5th, 2010

I won’t say anything about the conviction that everyone hasn’t already heard…., but I do want to say that I still think it is so funny that after all the evidence is out in the open, that Langford is STILL claiming racism. WOW. Way to man up Larry. It’s because you are black. OK, we get it. You have been wrongly convicted because you are black. Please fool.. Don’t go there! All those mean white folks are lying ’bout you. Come on big baller. You had a good little ride, now it’s time to pay.

When will this excuse finally end? When will people find shame in using this as an excuse? It would be embarrassing for me to claim racism if I was caught red handed. You are an embarrassment to your race.

So, I have to say that MyMayorSucks.com says, well you guessed it, YOU SUCK.

Herenton is toast

October 29th, 2009

Thank you for your service Mr. Herenton, or as your very racists followers call you, Dr. Herenton. They have really been “bamboozled”, to quote the greatest racist on earth.

In short, you suck. I am glad that they are running you through the wringer right now, and I hope and pray that they roast your bigoted, racist, shit talking ass like a marsh mellow.

I could go on about all of the scandals that you have gotten away with, but I will leave that to the real reporters in Memphis who have done a great job of following your crooked, race baiting ass.

In closing, I do like the little trick of writing Holder in order to persuade the “Black Magic” from Obama, but he ain’t stupid bitch!

So, I am anxiously awaiting the day that I get to see you get arrested for the first time. I want to see the look on your face. However, I am not looking forward to seeing you at a church, having the ministers talk you up. I am not looking forward to you with Jesse and Al, as I know that it will surely happen. That has come to be known as the “guilty black protocol”….

So again, You suck, and you deserve everything that you get…. BITCH

Are Herenton’s appointments criminal???

October 14th, 2009

One thing that has bothered me is the fact that Herenton appointed four times the amount of people than the charter allowed. OK, follow me here. He appointed 437 jobs. The charter allows for roughly 110 appointments.

So, follow me here. 437 jobs at $20,000 a year. Over 8 million a year for how many years? I mean what the hell were we doing letting this idiot give our tax dollars away to friends and family? We are not talking about a small amount of money. And, we are talking for the past two decades. This is going on while the city is broke and the school system in a terrible state. WTF are we thinking letting this goon rape us financially with no oversight?

Here is what I want to know:

What are the demographics of these appointed jobs. How many are white, how many are black. Tomeka Hart would ask if the tables were turned with a white mayor. Funny, I don’t hear anyone asking.

How many are related to other city workers or city council members?

What is the average pay of the appointees?

Were any of these people given a background check? If not, can we do that now?

I really want this to be investigated. I feel that Herenton appointed these people as payback for favors. I also feel that he appointed these people knowing that he was only allowed a little over 100 appointments. So, he knowingly appointed these people because he felt that there was no oversight, and that he didn’t care even if there was.

This needs to be investigated. This is a crime. This is a financial crime. This is a “Hate” crime. A hate for those that question his actions and motives.

Vote Myron Lowery for change

October 14th, 2009

Myron Lowery is the only choice for Memphis. He has done what others wouldn’t dare do, and he has done it in such a short time. He has been called a sell out and Uncle Tom, but he has what it takes to bring credit back to black politicians.

It has been scandals and racists rhetoric from the previous administration for the past 20 years. We have had the Tennessee Waltz, city council members bribing, lying, boozing, and on and on and on. Memphis is tired of seeing this everyday in the news, coupled with the crime reports on the news, and the racists columnists at the commercial appeal. It has run people out of Memphis by the tens of thousands over the past 20 years. What other city can say that? Sure, Herenton did away with public housing and built new places for inner city people to live, but who got the no bid contracts? Was it a minority contractor? Yeah, it was. People have been blinded by a master trickitician. People in Memphis like the fact that Herenton talked “all crazy” to the white folks. Well, people have been leaving in groves and taking their money with them. They aren’t coming back folks. Crime is way too senseless and violent here in Memphis, and people are scared to live here. And the racists rhetoric and scandals aren’t bringing them back. Well, enough about our previous racist mayor.

Charles Carpenter helped Herenton get the 91k on the Greyhound deal, so he is out. well, he’s out anyway according to the polls, but he is a slick ass attorney that would have only bankrupted this city even more.

I would love to see Carol Chumney win, but Memphis’ population will never elect another white mayor. The demographics are not there for a white candidate to win the mayors race. Sorry…

Jerry Lawler really has the best chance for a white candidate to win, and it is for a very stupid reason, the “Wrasslin’ effect.” So sad. We are really dealing with the lowest common denominator in this situation. Not Lawler, I like him, but the fact that he has a better chance because he is a wrestler.

AC Wharton is a smaller, “smilier”, more tactful, nicer, Herenton. Sorry, but that be the facts. One Memphis my ass. With Memphis being 70% black, hell, it is already one Memphis. Don’t blow smoke up my ass, AC….

I am not going to waste any time typing talking about Ol’ sassy ass Whalum. The flaming Ice-T Wanna Be. He is a racist, plain and simple. He has the whole FUBU attitude. Yeah, enough about him….

So, all in all, Lowery has done alot of cleaning house, or trying to, so he has my vote. He is getting rid of the Herenton trash that has been sucking this city dry for his own gain. Please keep up the good work Myron, but the polls don’t look good for a win. We can only hope for a miracle to hit Memphis voters. But I mean a real miracle, like a COGIC member tipping miracle.

Bottom line, Myron, you are the best person for the job, but it ain’t looking good….

Herenton’s past is catching up with him

October 6th, 2009

Memphis mayor WillieHerenton ran Memphis in a very unique way that didn’t allow for very much oversight from within the ranks of City Hall. He is now caught up in getting back pay for vacation days that he never took. He and then CAO approached HR and got this approved because nobody was able to do their jobs while away. I mean, here is a woman that was approached bt the mayor and the CAO to get this done; WTF was she gonna do? So, she assessed the situation and her thought was to probably do whatever they wanted or she would be cashing in unused vacation days when she was let go! So instead of enacting that policy forward, they then got all of the days from the past. What a deal!

Herenton was able to run his administration this way because of the fear that was instilled in everyone, as well as the fact that those under him shared his style of operating; I honestly think that it was like a mob mentality. Not the type of Rodney King style mob that burned their own neighborhoods, but the John Gotti style mob that had a code of silence. But, like John Gotti’s mob, it finally fell apart. That is what is happening here. Herenton was able to rule Memphis under the guise of racism. He went around Memphis giving speeches that were racially charged, and sent a message that if you challenged it, you were a racist. Herenton being the first elected black mayor, nobody wanted to challenge this and be hung out to dry as a racist. But, that is where Memphis messed up. People who should have spoken out against Herenton, did not. Instead, they decided to play ball and get what they could. They decided to go with the flow. In doing so, they are as much to blame as Herenton himself. They were facilitators. We now have to clean up the racial, financial, and overall appearance that Memphis gives off to the rest of the nation.

Herenton is a racist pig who has used his own people for his own personal, political, and financial gain. Those that share his views and style of doing business by way of fear, are just as trifling as he is. Sorry to say it folks, but Herenton used you. Now he wants to use you again when he runs for the 9th district. If you haven’t had enough, then vote for Herenton in the upcoming race. He will allow you to be used some more

Wellford, SC Mayor is an idiot!!

September 23rd, 2009

Wellford, SC (WSPA) -The Mayor of Wellford is defending her policy which bans police officers in that city from chasing suspects. Sallie Peake says the policy also includes vehicle chases along with pursuits on foot.

A memo issued on September 2nd from Peake to all Wellford officers reads:

“As of this date, there are to be no more foot chases when a suspect runs. I do not want anyone chasing after any suspects whatsoever.”

WSPA first reported the mandate on Wednesday after an anonymous citizen faxed a copy of the memo to our newsroom. Peake was out of town and unavailable for comment. On Friday, reporter Chris Cato caught up with her in her office and questioned her about the origin of the policy. Peake says she issued the mandate because several officers have been injured during chases, driving up insurance costs for the town.

“The officers are costing us more money on insurance than most citizens here in the city of Wellford are even earning,” says Peake.

She says the city is paying out $20,000 annually in workers’ compensation claims, much of it due to the police force. In July, two officers wrecked their cruisers while chasing suspects and had to go to the hospital for minor treatment. The police chief says three officers have been injured during foot chases in the last two years.

Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright says the policy prevents police from upholding the law-a direct violation of their constitutional oath.

“If a bank robber or a drunk driver or a shoplifter or somebody with a warrant runs on foot, it’s our obligation to do what we can do to bring them to justice,” says Wright.

But when we asked Peake about her order impeding an officer from stopping a crime in progress, she became defensive and irate. The conversation went as follows:

Reporter: “Are you telling your officers if they witness a crime - they witness someone commit a crime on someone else and they’re ten yards away - they can’t go stop that person?”
Peake: “Is that in there?” (referring to policy)
Reporter: “It says no chases whatsoever.”
Peake: “Well, that’s what I said, no chases, didn’t I? I didn’t say nothing about a crime. If you see a crime, this that and the other -”
Reporter: “Well, that’s what a chase is - ”
Peake: “Well, I told them no chase on foot, and (the police chief) know exactly what I mean, so you’re trying to twist what I -”
Reporter: “No, I’m not. You said no chases. No chases means no chases.”
Peake: (claps hands) “You got you a story, thank God! You are so sweet! You got you a story on a woman in Wellford! Hallelujah! I’m so proud of you, Mr. Cato!”

Wellford Police Chief Chris Guy has told his officers to abide by the policy. He says they can still protect the public.

“Just because a suspect may run does not mean we can’t identify them, sign warrants, and catch them later,” says Guy.

But Sheriff Wright says when a suspect gets away, there is always the chance he could hurt someone before officers catch up with him.

Peake says that won’t happen in Wellford.

Here’s hoping the arm of the law really is long.

Myrtle Beach Mayor at it again

September 22nd, 2009

090917072033_web-mayor-retha-pierce

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina lawmaker has asked Gov. Mark Sanford to oust the mayor of a troubled coastal town.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports that Rep. Tracy Edge, R-North Myrtle Beach, wrote Sanford Friday that Atlantic Beach would be better off without Mayor Retha Pierce.

Pierce was charged Wednesday with drunken driving. She was released on bond the next day and told reporters she is innocent.

Pierce has been arrested three other times since late 2007. She was charged in April with leaving the scene of an accident and arrested in January on a trespassing charge at Town Hall in a dispute with staff members.

As a council member, she was charged in 2007 with resisting arrest during a traffic stop. She said she had to go to the bathroom.

Commercial Appeal “Troll” found wandering the streets of Memphis

September 19th, 2009

fat-ugly-people-photo-bad-dress3

Mambasa, the angry troll poster at the Commercial Appeal, was found wandering the streets of Memphis in a drunken, racist, rage. Upon encountering each and every white person, she would vehemently shout racial slurs of honky, cracker, hater, do-gooder, and one passerby even heard her call a elderly woman a slave trader.

As the police were summoned, 2 obese, obviously racist, white police officers proceeded to spray her with a steady stream of mace. Surprisingly, Mambasa, as she is known in the blogs at the Commercial Appeal, opened her mouth like a clown at a carnival game that rises the sailboat to the top to win the Led Zeppelin mirror. It seemed as though the mace enriched her and gave her strength. She made claims to having Willie Herenton’s cell phone number, and threatened to call if the police did not keep spraying mace in her mouth.

Probably the most despicable, as well as horrific site was when she would pull her shirt up at all the white children as they passed by. When doing so, she would yell, “look at it, you little white devils.”The police finally subdued Mambasa, but only after she had disrobed, which caused a chain reaction of vomiting by all that witnessed her antics. Oddly enough, she was not taken away by way of police vehicle, but a Commercial Appeal van.

In closing, we can only assume that Mambasa is an employee of the CA, and is hired to run interference with honest and thoughtful posters that really care about Memphis’ future, and not the past.

Charles Carpenter Cannot be Trusted

September 18th, 2009

little-charles

Why would anyone elect Charles Carpenter? He has been with Herenton throughout every campaign, and has obviously helped him in his verbiage that stokes the flames of racism, that serve as nothing more than a smokescreen to get over on Memphis for personal gain.

For someone to promote the fact that every time they are called to the carpet for impropriety, it is because of their race, is simply borderline asinine. This is a tactic that is obviously ok with Charles Carpenter. He has been with Herenton every step of the way. He has yet to speak about the arrogance that Herenton loves to display. Why is this? I feel it is because it is an acceptable way to get what they feel whites have gotten away with throughout Memphis’ history. That, in and of itself, is a crazy rationale. So, since they did it, we need to be able to do it. OK, that makes a lot of sense. I for one am glad that Herenton is black. I would not want him to be white and give whites such a bad name. If he were white, I feel he would be the head of the Klan. His views are hate filled, plain and simple.

Carpenter must share the same views as Herenton, or he would have distanced himself years ago. To feel it is ok to do wrong simply because others got away with it for so long, is really a backward mindset. Will Carpenter get caught up in the frenzy of making money on projects that have an influence by the city? Will he appoint four times the amount of jobs that the charter allows? Will he appoint no bid contracts to people that he does personal business with? I see no color in the crimes just listed. I just see crimes. It reminds me of all the anger over blacks being targeted in the Tn. waltz sting. They were supposedly targeted. The bottom line is, they took the money. They are guilty. The majority of politicians as well as population in Memphis are black. The notion that we should get a discount because of our color is ridiculous.

Can Charles Carpenter lead this city in an objective manner? Uh, no! It is guilt by association. He has been associated with the guilty for twenty years, and we don’t need an undercover Herenton in the office of the Mayor. Carpenter will prove to be a better looking, more tactful, more likable, but still the same, Herenton number two.

Mayor Herenton is “keeping it Real”.. Racist

July 24th, 2009

suckhead1

Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton was caught today cleaning out his office and loading up his vehicle. He looked in good spirits as he made trips to his vehicle, accompanied by his former bodyguards. The soon to be ex Mayor stopped for an interview for one of the news stations, and his remarks were more of the same, race related.

As he proudly wore his “keeping it real” shirt, which by the way is his campaign slogan in his congressional bid to oust Steve Cohen, he spoke more of the same old Willie Herenton “racist at large” rhetoric. In a modified style of speaking that is reminiscent of MLK, he slowly told the reporter that he had no idea why members of the election commission were so adamant in their racist and perverted desires to get him out of office so quickly. He compared it to the days when whites called African Americans trouble makers for not wanting to be segregated anymore.

Mr. Herenton seems to think that Memphis still wants him here. I think he is sadly mistaken. The blacks, or African Americans, which is the more popular phrase now, (why, I don’t know. I never see any rallies to raise money to send to the families of relatives that are still there, or rallies to stop slavery, which is still an open practice in Africa. With slavery being such a soft spot in this country, you would think that this would be paramount. I mean, African Americans are so upset over relatives they never knew being enslaved, but they don’t seem to care about relatives that are alive now, being enslaved. Maybe there’s nothing to gain by helping them. just thinking outloud.) as well as the greedy old white businessmen, wanted him in for what they could get. The white businessmen wanted the benefits of pay to play, and the blacks just liked to see a black man “talk all crazy” to the whites. There is more to it than that, but that is what it boils down to. So to these two groups of people, it was a pretty costly ride for the rest of the city. We had to pay for it for almost two decades. Thanks. The city is in shambles, and Herenton with his best civil rights voice talks as if Memphis is just fine. He actually tried to blame whites for all the craziness. Whites had nothing to do with all of the bogus deals, the no bid contracts, the hiring of unqualified people to prominent jobs just so they wouldn’t talk, the countless racism spewed at every opportunity, the crime, and on and on and on.

Please leave here. We don’t want you here. You are a Cancer. You are a crook. You are a racist. You are no good.

That’s just me, “Keeping it Real”

Ottawa Mayor Sinks to new LOW

July 6th, 2009

obrien1

Mayor O’Brien is accused of offering a political rival, Terry Kilrea, money and help with a federal appointment in exchange for dropping out of the 2006 Ottawa mayoral election.

Why is it that Mayor O’Brien cannot stand on his own two feet and defeat Terry Kilrea on his own merits. To have to stoop that low must have taken alot of soul searching. It must have been a hard walk of shame to go to Mr. Kilrea and propose such a bribe. In my opinion, O’Brien has lost all credibility. It must have been a slap in the face of all the supporters that have been with throughout his tenure.

Ottawa will have to think hard about the fact that this mayor is capable of such an act, when election time comes around.

America’s Greatest Racist

June 26th, 2009

herenton31

Mayor Herenton resigns. What a feeling it was to hear those words. I was knee deep in refinishing the floors in my house, but I took a hiatus to sit down and listen to what I have been waiting to hear for years.

I really wasn’t surprised to hear his farewell speech was the same old racists rhetoric that talked about blacks, whites, and money. That’s what has appealed to the Herenton followers all these years; money, and putting down white people. They love to hear the uppity jive talking that Herenton is famous for. It’s like when you hear a preacher tell a dirty joke. You know he knows it isn’t right, but it seems to make the joke that much funnier. The joke has been on Memphis.

Herenton spoke as if he was moving on. There were no more challenges for him. An old pro that had beaten every opponent, but the real message was loud and clear. It was a message that said, I have been caught dipping in the till, I’ve been caught awarding jobs to those that have the goods on me. I’ve been caught being something that black people have been fighting against for decades; a racist. Basically, Herenton had been found out. He knew that he had to move on to get out of the spotlight, the federal spotlight. He thinks that he can just move on down the road and the feds will just go away. Ain’t gonna happen Willie.

My thought is that Herenton doesn’t want to lose that pension from the city when he is indicted. The charter says that if you are indicted while in office, you won’t get the cheese. Willie can’t have that. Willie gonna need some cheese when he has to pay that heavy retainer. My thought is that we will see Herenton lose the racists rhetoric when he gives Leslie Ballin a call to represent him. The black attorneys are fine when it’s Joseph Lee, or we are over billing the city with one of his cronies, but the doctor needs the best.

The bottom line is this, Herenton is a crook. He tried to cover his crimes with the falsehood of racism. He was good at it. But, it finally came to a head and he got caught. The racism was the perfect instrument to use in the city of Memphis. It was perfect, but, in the end, it was a little too perfect.

Goodbye to America’s greatest racist. Goodbye, Willie Herenton.
